Death of Flash:  Time to Upgrade Your Prezi Classic

Adobe is finally planning to kill off Flash once and for all. Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Safari have all been blocking Flash over the past year, but Adobe is now planning for the death of Flash, removing all support for it by the end of 2020. ( I know it’s the start of the year but we are already in March - what?!)

So what does this mean for you? Well if you have a Prezi Classic presentation - it's now time to start thinking about your converting over to Prezi Next. We notified customers last year, but just in case it slipped your mind, the time to act is now. Because of this change, we have seen an influx of customers conversions recently and we would be happy to take it on. If you have not changed over to the new platform, now is the time - Don’t miss the boat!

It is important to note that Prezi has said that all Prezi Classics will continue to display fine indefinitely using the Chrome browser, however once Flash is completely unsupported, users will no longer we able to edit existing presentations in Classic.
Adobe will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020 and encourage content creators to migrate any existing Flash content to these new open formats.

So, if you need to convert over, contact the geeks to schedule a call or book in to have your Prezi conversion
